Music
The impact of Minitel (and particularly, sex-oriented "pink Minitel" services) on the social lives of French people, both young and old, is evident in a number of pop records produced in the 1980s.
While "Minitel Miniquoi" by Liaison is a more subtle synth-pop record, Noe Willer's "Sur Minitel" and Marie-Paule Belle's "Mini-Minitel" each discuss the novel challenges of meeting a lover online. Willer sings about overcoming shyness and Belle recounts "undressing him with my digital fingers."
